what i hope are plums....
So I have these trees in my front yard and they now bear fruit that looks a lot like wild plums so I have decided to harvest them and make something delicious. It was quite the sight to see because I was too short to reach most of them so I shook the branches which resulted in a avalanche of plums upon my head. So I now emerge covered in plum juice with quite the bounty ready to bake! I just hope that they are not poisonous because that would be a problem. I thinking a cake or pie might be nice.... I will keep you updated with how it turns out and if I die or not.

ReplyDeleteWell, I have made 2 loaves of deliciously sweet wild plum "muffin" bread and 5 random muffins because there wasn't enough batter for a third loaf. Definitely a delectable outcome that I didn't expect which means I must have more food adventures in the future. :) Oh and I am still alive so the plums are turning out to be not poisonous which is always a happy ending.
